Anastasia was drawn towards drama and entertainment from an early age. She worked in some of her mother’s projects. She appeared in ‘Ferris wheel,’ ‘Ka-de-bo,’ and a television show, ‘A Woman Wants to Know ...’ In 2014 she was enlisted by Elle Magazine among the ‘top 10 bachelorettes in Russia.’ She stepped into the world of modelling in 2015. The ravishing diva emerged as one of the famous models in Russia in no time. She has done extensive work as a model in Russia, including featuring in leading magazines of the country. Anastasia was born on November 16, 1993, in Switzerland to Kirill Shubskiy and Vera Glagolev. According to hockey blog, ‘Russian Machine Never Breaks,’ (RMNB) Anastasia’s father is a Russian businessman with interests in ship building business. He was advisor to Leonid Tyagachev, the president of the Russian Olympic Committee, for some time. He serves as the CEO of RT-Chemical Technologies and Composite Materials. Her mother was a Russian actress and film director known for Russian films like ‘Poor Sasha,’ ‘Do Not Shoot at White Swans,’ and ‘At the End of the World.’ Her two older siblings, Anna and Maria, are from her mother’s first marriage with Soviet-American-Russian actor Rodion Nakhapetov. Initially, Anastasia was brought up in Switzerland along with her step-siblings, but her family later relocated to Moscow, Russia. She completed her high school studies at Moscow. Her mother succumbed to cancer on August 16, 2017, at a hospital in Germany.

She was romantically associated with businessman Artem Bolshakov for around three years. The two even got engaged but rare meetings of the two due to Artem's long stay in the US gradually affected their relationship leading to an eventual split.

She attended the 2008 Summer Olympic Games held in Beijing, China, with her father. There she got to meet the famous Russian professional ice hockey winger Alexander Mikhailovich Ovechkin for the first time. In one of the after parties, the young teenager got the chance to slow-dance with Alexander. In November 2014, Alexander spotted a picture of Anastasia on Instagram. Eager to get in touch with her, Alexander managed to get her phone number and contacted her. With time, the two developed a strong friendship, which eventually blossomed into a romantic association. In September 2015, Alexander asked Anastasia’s parents for their consent, and proposed the diva with an engagement ring which she accepted. On 11th of that month he announced his engagement to Anastasia through Instagram.

On August 11, 2016, Anastasia married Alexander at the Fourth Wedding Palace at Butyrskaya in Moscow. The couple welcomed their first child, a son, on August 18, 2018. The boy is named Sergei Aleksandrovich Ovechkin after the late brother of Alexander. Presently the couple lives in the United States.
