Analeigh Tipton was in a relationship with film producer Aaron McManus. They dated for a few years and then announced their engagement in 2013. But Analeigh broke the engagement in 2014 as she wanted to focus more on her career. She then started dating her ‘Manhattan Love Story’ co-actor, Jake McDorman.
Analeigh Tipton was born in Minnesota on November 9, 1988. She started ice skating at a very young age and became a regional champion in no time. Her parents saw the passion in her and allowed her to focus more on her ice skating skills. Since she got good grades, her parents didn't have to worry too much about her education.
At the age of eight, Tipton moved to Sacramento, California, with her family. She attended a school in Placerville, California, and started spending more time in honing her ice skating skills.
She started participating in the local competitions and managed to win quite a few of them. After becoming a regional champion on a couple of occasions, she decided to quit competitive skating at the age of 16. However, she continued to show off her amazing skills by skating in the local charity events.
By the time she was in high school, she had developed a penchant for filmmaking. She wanted to become a director and hence moved to Los Angeles in order to fulfil her dreams, but fate had other plans for her as she was signed by a modeling agency.
At the age of 19, she came across a few model recruiters, who asked her to participate in ‘America’s Next Top Model’ as they thought she had a good chance of winning the competition. Initially, she was not confident about performing well in the contest, but as she started spending more time on the sets of the popular reality show, she gained enough confidence and managed to get the second runner-up position on the show.
Before participating in ‘America’s Next Top Model,’ she worked as a model with ‘I Model & Talent’ and had walked the ramp at the ‘Los Angeles Fashion Week’ for well-known designers.
Once her highly successful run with ‘America’s Next Top Model’ was over, she went ahead and signed a contract with the modeling agency, ‘Ford Models.’ Around the same time, she was also signed by ‘Abrams Artists Agency,’ one of the well-known talent agencies in Los Angeles.
Tipton had the time of her life for the next couple of years as she graced the covers of many top magazines, such as ‘Marie Claire,’ ‘Seventeen Magazine,’ ‘Maxim,’ and ‘Vogue.’ She also appeared in the advertising campaigns of major clothing brands like ‘Forever 21’ and ‘Guess.’
Though she was on the verge of becoming one of the top models of America, deep down she knew that she wanted to do something more profound. Hence, she enrolled herself at ‘New York Film Academy’ in order to hone her skills as a writer and actor.
Meanwhile, she kept modeling and had a breakthrough in 2010 when she walked the ramp at the ‘Los Angeles Fashion Week’ for the renowned designer David Alexander. In the same year, she modeled the pre-fall collection of ‘Geren Ford.’ After walking the ramp on a couple of other occasions, she waved goodbye to modeling and started focusing solely on her acting career.
