In 2003, Bynes, after calling it quits with her ‘The Amanda Show’ co-star Taran Killam, she started dating her ‘What I like About You’ Co-star Nick Zano. She told ‘CosmoGirl!’, the magazine, that she was in love with Zano.

In 2008, Bynes was reported to have been seen getting cozy with Doug Reinhardt. They were spotted kissing each other at one of the L.A. Lakers game but the relationship did not have much mileage and they broke up by the end of the year.

In 2012, she collided with a police car and was arrested for driving under influence but her father claimed that she did not have any alcohol that night. Three months later, she was again arrested for hit and run.

Amanda Bynes was born in Thousand Oaks, California to Lynn and Rick Bynes. Her father was a dentist and mother a dental assistant. Her family has both catholic and Jewish beliefs but she was given full freedom to follow her own faith.

When Bynes was merely 7 years old, she started taking comedy class for kids at the Comedy Store in Hollywood and after that she attended the Laugh Factory for another comedy class. While she was taking the class, she started to get offers to act professionally.

When she was 7 years old, Bynes got her first acting stint in a Nestl�’s candy commercial, called ‘Buncha Crunch’ candies. After that she was noticed by the producers and got hired to act on stage in ‘Annie’, ‘The Secret Garden’, etc.

Around that time, she also became a regular cast member of Nickelodeon’s shows ‘Figure It Out’ and ‘All That’. She became more and more famous in ‘All That’, which fetched her a sketch comedy show of her own ‘The Amanda Show’.

Throughout 1999, she became very famous with ‘The Amanda Show’ in which she developed unforgettable characters like Judge Trudy, Penelope Taynt, etc. It fetched her Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for Favorite TV actress for 3 years.

In 2002, with her Nickelodeon popularity, she stepped into the world of motion pictures with ‘Big Fat Liar’, starring along with Paul Giamatti and Sandra Oh. She also starred in the WB series ‘What I Like About You’.

In 2003, Bynes did ‘What a Girl Wants’, starring along with Hollywood aces like Colin Firth, Olive James and Kelly Preston. She also gave her voice in the movie ‘Charlotte’s Web 2: Wilbur’s Great Adventure’ and appeared on ‘Vanity Fair’s’ cover.

Bynes has won 7 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards throughout her acting career, for her television shows ‘All That’ and ‘The Amanda Show’ and for movies ‘Big Fat Liar’ and ‘What a Girl Wants’.

She has also won multiple awards for her musical ‘Hairspray’ (in which she starred along with John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, etc.), Hollywood Film Festival award, Broadcast Film Critics Association award and Palm Springs International Film Festival award.
