Alexis Maas was born on 1952, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the US. Her nationality is American. However, not much is known about her life prior to her marriage. According to some sources, she used to work as a stock brokerage employee before her marriage to Johnny Carson.
Johnny Carson and Alexis Maas tied the knot on June 20, 1987, after dating for a couple of years. Carson, being a shy and private person outside of his onscreen persona, didn’t reveal much about their relationship to the media. Alexis was 35 at the time of their marriage, while Johnny was 61. The vast age gap between them triggered a few mild controversies. Their marriage was officiated by Superior Court Judge William P. The couple spent a huge amount of money on their lavish honeymoon in the Mediterranean countries.
Carson already had three sons from his first marriage when he tied the knot with Alexis Maas. He didn’t have any children with Alexis.
