Addison Moffett started dancing when she was seven years old. After relocating to Arizona, she and her elder sister, Alexa, began training at Dance Connection 2 in Gilbert. She got singed to Bloc Talent Agency and booked her first job at the age of 13, when she was selected as a background dancer to contestant Diamond White on 'The X Factor'. In 2013, she and her sister switched to Club Dance Studio in Phoenix, Arizona, where she started training and her sister joined as a choreographer.
Addison Moffett appeared as a dancer in a Sunday Special episode of 'America's Got Talent' in 2014. However, Alexa reportedly had a fallout with the owner of club, Kelli Wilkins, at the end of the competition season in 2015, following which the two sisters left the club. After Molly Long, a friend of Alexa, opened her own studio called 'Project 21' in the next year, Alexa became the contemporary and lyrical choreographer there, while Addison trained there during her senior year and also competed with their teen competition team.
Addison gained recognition on 'Dance Moms', in which she first appeared on Season 5 Episode 6, 'Nia Risks It All', as a background dancer at the Sheer Talent competition on February 10, 2015. In the next episode, she worked as assistant for Abby and Gianna, and appeared in a small cameo in bonus footage for L.A. auditions. She is now connected with her sister's 'Alexa Moffett Studios' as well.
Addison Moffett is professionally trained in many styles of dance, including acrobatics, ballet, hip hop, jazz, musical theatre, lyrical, contemporary, and modern. She has a huge list of regional and national dance titles under her belt. She was the 'WCDE Elite Teen Dancer' and 'Teen Miss Showbiz' in 2011. The next year, she was named the 'NUVO Teen Female Breakout Artist' and was the 'Teen Hall of Fame Solo Inductee'. In 2013, she was the 13-and-over winner of 'ALDC Dance Off', Abby Lee's online dance competition. She earned the highest score in teen category with her solo performance 'Latch' at 'The Dance Awards' in Las Vegas in 2014 and also ranked third for 'Best Female Dancer' in the teen division. With the same performance, she became the (Senior) 'Miss Dance of America' at the KAR Las Vegas Nationals in the Blue Room in 2014. She previously won the title in the 'Teen' category twice in 2012 and 2013.
In 2015, Addison Moffett had co-created the YouTube channel 'KalaniAddy' with another 'Dance Moms' member, Kalani Hilliker. Every Tuesdays, they posted different types of videos including fashion and beauty tutorials, as well as room tours. However, all the videos of the channel were suddenly deleted in May 2016 without any explanation, and the channel was subsequently renamed to 'AddyKaylee'. On May 8, Kalani tweeted her "side of the story" by mentioning that she never granted Addison permission to use the channel as her own. A fan later revealed a comment from Kalani's mother Kira Girard which mentioned that due to her increasingly busy schedule, Kalani was unable to spare time for the channel. They reportedly agreed to "dissolve" the channel, but Addison decided to keep the channel for herself. Addison deleted the channel a few weeks later and currently runs a separate channel that she had created back in March 2015. She usually posts vlogs on the channel.
