Bob McLaughlin decided to make a birthday invitation video even before his eldest daughter, Jillian started walking and posted it on YouTube. Later, Bob started narrating fairy tales on the same channel which got enough attention from the viewers and the channel pulled through to get over a 100 thousand subscribers. The family was featured in local television channel, WQED’s show called “Smart parent”. They also managed to get the attention of ‘Pittsburgh Dad’, a local YouTube personality when they visited the mall one day. Bob states that the girls already have a lot of plans for the future of the channel although it is Bob who directs all the video in the channel. Their channel had over 1.2 million subscribers and over a billion video views at the end of 2016.
Addie is the younger daughter of Bob McLaughlin, the director of the channel. She is more practical of the two ‘babyteeth4’ girls whereas her sister Jillian is slightly subjective to personal biases on any given topic. Jillian often thinks about solving a troublesome scenario where Addie is the troublemaker. It requires fair amount of intent and focus to appear so nonchalant in video where they’re required to give reviews and she nails it. Being the breaker of things even in the DIY, it is Addie’s job to make sure that the viewers have a good laugh as they make creative playthings watching these lovely little women.
Addie’s family lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and they often visit nearby malls to make their videos. She and her sister Jillian like candies but they don’t like to share. It is their mother’s duty to keep their candy cravings in check. Their family can also be seen contributing to the ALS along with the ‘Ice-bucket challenge’ in the ‘Google Japan’s 2014 Search’ video.
