Adam Ortiz created his channel SomeThingElseYT on January 10, 2014. However, he did not start posting until August 2016. His first video, titled ‘How to Gym Good,’ was a comedic one. This was followed by a video in which Ortiz talks about his journey on YouTube. On September 5, 2016, he shared his first animated video called ‘Attacked My Car’. In this video, he graphically demonstrated a real-life incident that had happened with him. After its success, he continued creating and publishing more animated short movies. On September 29, 2016, his video titled ‘Man Broke Into My Backyard’ came out. It went viral and gave his channel a much needed boost. This was followed by more popular videos, including 'GROWN MAN enrolled into my Elementary school', 'The day I almost freaking died', 'Stupid Things I Do' and 'The Day I Got Arrested', to name a few. Each of these short graphic movies earned over a million views in no time.
