Adam Ortiz

Adam Ortiz was born on June 17, 1997 in Arizona, USA. He is good friends with many fellow YouTube animators including Rebecca Parham from the channel Let Me Explain Studios.In 2016, Ortiz attended the LA Fit Expo where he met Rob and Dana Linn Bailey.

Adam Ortiz created his channel SomeThingElseYT on January 10, 2014. However, he did not start posting until August 2016. His first video, titled ‘How to Gym Good,’ was a comedic one. This was followed by a video in which Ortiz talks about his journey on YouTube. On September 5, 2016, he shared his first animated video called ‘Attacked My Car’. In this video, he graphically demonstrated a real-life incident that had happened with him. After its success, he continued creating and publishing more animated short movies. On September 29, 2016, his video titled ‘Man Broke Into My Backyard’ came out. It went viral and gave his channel a much needed boost. This was followed by more popular videos, including 'GROWN MAN enrolled into my Elementary school', 'The day I almost freaking died', 'Stupid Things I Do' and 'The Day I Got Arrested', to name a few. Each of these short graphic movies earned over a million views in no time.

His channel continued to register a phenomenal growth rate and earned over 1.3 million subscribers by October 2018. The most watched videos of his channel include 'Devils Vs Angels w/ Jaiden Animations & TheOdd1sOut' And 'I Was A Weird Kid'. Both of these videos are super amazing to watch and have garnered millions of views each. Another popular video which he had shared recently is 'A Comic I Made in the Third Grade'.

On November 22, 2017, Adam Ortiz posted a social media tweet about his recent video at the time being demonetized. He later disclosed that all of his YouTube videos were demonetized. Then on January 2, 2018, the YouTuber’s monetization policy was turned on again.
