Abby McGrew was born on January 1, 1984 in Nashville, Tennessee, United States to Tom McGrew. She has two siblings, Lacey McGrew and Molly McGrew. Abby spent much of her growing up years in Nashville. She completed her graduation from Brentwood Academy, a suburban prep school. Abby first met Eli Manning in the spring of 2002 at the University of Mississippi. While he was a junior, she was a freshman. The two dated through the spring semester and officially became a couple the following fall as Eli began the 2002-’03 football season as quarterback for the Ole Miss Rebels.
After years of steady dating, Eli finally popped the much-awaited question during a trip home to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Though he intended to ask her during their trip to her family in Nashville, he was too eager to wait. The engagement ring was a specially crafted one at Adler’s, emerald-cut center stone ring which was flanked by two emerald-cut diamonds on either side. The two tied the nuptial knot in Mexico on April 19, 2008. Today, the Mannings are proud parents of three daughters, Ava, born in 2011, Lucy, born in 2013, and Caroline, born in 2015. They currently, reside in New Jersey.
Stardom came Abby McGrew’s way too early in life wrapped in love. Until college, Abby was a regular school girl who was charming, pretty and amicable. She studied, indulged in hobbies and spent time with friends. It was after enrolling for a degree in fashion at the University of Mississippi that life changed dramatically for Abby. Her cute girl-next-door image caught the eye of Eli Manning, who was in his junior year then. What happened next is not unknown to anyone! Abby and Eli hit it off ever since they were first introduced. For six years, until 2008, Abby and Eli dated each other. Despite having media attention and glare, Abby did not let any of it come in between them. Together they share an amicable bond and have a deep understanding. They got married in 2008 and are today proud parents of three daughters. Other than their social life, Abby and Eli are very charitable. Abby is involved with New York’s St. Vincent’s Hospital, where her time and donations have helped create a new holistic birthing center. They have also contributed to scholarship programs at their alma mater, University of Mississippi.
