In 2012, he married his Nowhere Boy director Sam Taylor-Wood who is 24 years older to him and both changed their last names to Taylor-Johnson.
The couple has two daughters - Wylda Rae and Romy Hero.
Aaron is also the stepfather of Angelica and Jessie- his wife's daughters from her previous marriage to Jay Jopling.
Johnson was born in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England, on 13th June 1990. Johnson has an English, Russian and Jewish background.
His family consists of his father, Robert Johnson, a civil engineer by profession, and mother, Sarah Johnson, a housemaker, and sister Gemma Johnson.
In the words of Aaron, “I grew up in a pretty rubbish area outside of London”, so his upbringing was not in a luxurious environment.
He attended the Holmer Green Senior School and also went to the Jackie Palmer Stage School in High Wycombe (1996 to 2008) where he learnt about drama, tap, jazz, acrobatics, and singing.
The handsome dude came into the spotlight with movies such as the black comedy ‘Kick-Ass’ (2010) and its 2013 sequel, ‘Nowhere Boy’ (2009), ‘Anna Karenina’ (2012), ‘Savages’ (2012), and ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ (2015).
In Kick-Ass, the actor starred with Chloe Moretz and Nicolas Cage. In the Russian drama ‘Anna Karenina’, based on the classic novel of the same name by Leo Tolstoy, Aaron worked opposite Keira Knightley for the role of Count Vronsky.
Aaron’s big break was in the movie ‘Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging’ (2008), which made him a known name in England.
He also did the American drama ‘The Greatest’ alongside Carey Mulligan in 2009.
The other noteworthy performances by Aaron include crime thriller ‘Savages’ (2012), science fiction ‘Godzilla’ (2014) and thriller ‘Nocturnal Animals’ (2016).
The actor got six nominations for his role of David "Dave" Lizewski in the movie ‘Kick Ass’.
Aaron won a nomination for the ‘Young British Performer of the Year’ by the London Film Critics’ Circle.
He was also nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star Award for his role in Kick-Ass movie.
His sartorial style got him a place in GQ's 50 best dressed British men in 2015.
