Seine-Saint-Denis offers newborns a tree
The Seine-Saint-Denis department offers parents of newborn babies the possibility of their child sponsoring a tree or receiving a plant
A baby barely born but already a godfather or godmother. The Seine-Saint-Denis department offers young parents the possibility of making their newborn "the godfather of a tree planted in the area or of receiving a plant". The first thirty participatory plantings "1 birth, 1 tree" took place this Saturday at Georges-Valbon Park in La Courneuve.
This CD93 operation "aims to include the inhabitants of the territory in the departmental policy of regreening the territory". "1 birth, 1 tree" integrates the Canopée plan launched in Seine-Saint-Denis, which aims to strengthen the place of trees in the city. Six hundred and fifty-eight families have registered to plant a tree for the birth of their child.
