In fact, 2019 IKEA products can sell for hundreds — and sometimes thousands — of dollars.

Of course, products are only worth what someone pays for them, but it pays to make sure your old IKEA furniture and decorative items don’t often end up being auctioned off at high prices before throwing them away.

From vintage stuffed animals and quirky lamps to swivel chairs and designer rugs, here are some of the most expensive and sought-after IKEA items currently being sold in Canada – and beyond.

A number of products from the collection, including a “Wet Grass” rug and a “Temporary” clock, will set you back hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars.

However, it is the Keep Off carpet that is one of the biggest ticket items.

One eBay listing is currently listing this rug for over $10,000 while others are listing it around the $7,500 mark.

But beware, there are a few fakes out there.
