For example, he pointed out that, like plastic, polyester cloth is also a source of environmental pollution, and urged people to reduce their use of polyester to minimize its impact.

He encouraged engineering graduates not to see their degree as the end of their learning, but rather as the beginning, and to use their knowledge for the betterment of themselves and society.
Vasudev also noted with pleasure that more women are graduating with engineering degrees than 30 years ago, and wished the graduates all the best.
