Otherwise, he warned, the consequences could be dangerous.

For example, he pointed out that, like plastic, polyester cloth is also a source of environmental pollution, and urged people to reduce their use of polyester to minimize its impact.

In his speech, Vasudev expressed his belief that the next 20 years will be crucial in safeguarding all living beings and promoting positive development in all fields, including Science and Technology. He encouraged engineering graduates not to see their degree as the end of their learning, but rather as the beginning, and to use their knowledge for the betterment of themselves and society.

Vasudev also noted with pleasure that more women are graduating with engineering degrees than 30 years ago, and wished the graduates all the best.

JSS Science and Technology University recently held its convocation ceremony, with a total of 1,604 students receiving degrees and Ph.Ds. Among these were 986 BE, 54 BCA, 176 M.Tech, 103 MCA, 47 MSc., 227 MBA, and 11 Ph.Ds.

The ceremony also awarded 56 medals to students, including 34 for top-scoring students in their respective branches and 22 Endowment Medals.
