Top Security Prospect 2025 Faheem Delane Discusses FSU Offer

Faheem Delane, who is 6ft 2 and weighs 187 pounds, was thrilled to receive an offer from the state of Florida last month. Delane, who comes from Olney (Md.) Good Counsel, is ranked as the 41st-best overall contender in the Class of 2025 and he has the offerings to back up that ranking. The list of schools offering Delane includes Alabama, Boston College, Cincinnati, LSU, Florida, Maryland, Miami, Minnesota, Mississippi, Ohio State, Oregon, West Virginia, and Penn State.

“Coach Papuchis offered me when he came to my school during recruiting time,” Delane said. “FSU has always been one of my dream schools just because of their DB culture. I will be attending FSU the first weekend in March. I think some skills I can bring to FSU are that canine mentality and the physical football they play.”

Delane doesn’t have a date for a spring visit just yet, but it’s in the works, though he also competes for his high school’s track and field team.

“I’m looking forward to meeting the coaching staff and seeing the campus,” said Delane. “I like where Coach Norvell is leading the program and I’m interested in being separate from that. Distance isn’t a big concern, just my parents feel safe entrusting me to any school I go to. My goals outside of football this track season are to do well and maintain an average of 3.0 or better.”
