Tate and her brother Tristan remain in detention in Romania after authorities extended their detention until February 27. UPDATE on Andrew Tate’s detention: Tina Glandian, Andrew Tate’s lawyer, suggests Romanian authorities make next decision after Feb. 27, learn more about Andrew Tate
Glandian recently joined LBC for an interview and talked about a few different topics. Among these was an important and timely update on Tate’s arrest and detention. Glandian said,
“We will find out in the next few days that the current detention order expires on February 27. And if the prosecution intends to extend that for another 30 days, they’ll have to make that request soon.
And then we’ll have a hearing on it. Obviously our hope is that at this point they’ll be released and it won’t be extended, but am I optimistic about that? No.”
This is therefore not good news for Andrew Tate and his followers. Glandian’s comments showed authorities are unlikely to release Tate and her brother on February 27.
When Tina Glandian took the case, it raised many eyebrows. It’s because of Tate’s history with his comments about women. And though she said she wasn’t optimistic about the Feb. 27 release, Glandian showed her support for Tate.
While speaking to LBC, she also compared Tate’s comments to rappers’ comments and pointed out that no one calls rappers misogynistic for their lyrics. In addition, she also reaffirmed that the authorities have no evidence and are looking for it.
Therefore, while Glandian isn’t optimistic about being released, she seems confident about the case if it goes to trial.
What do you think of these comments from Tina Glandian? Do you think we’ll see Andrew Tate released from police custody on February 27?
