Canadian fans of the popular TV series The Office, a mockumentary sitcom series that aired from 2005 to 2013, will get a chance to see what it was really like on set.
The Office Experience is an interactive event where “guests are invited to celebrate their favorite moments and characters,” according to the creators of Original X Productions. It makes its international debut on March 3rd in Toronto after performing in Chicago and Washington, DC
The show revolves around the Dunder Mifflin paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where a group of average but remarkable (and hilarious) people work and share their lives in front of the camera.

It delves deep into their day-to-day relationships, from the ongoing feud between two salespeople, the lovable Jim Halpert and the eccentric Dwight K. Shrute (played by John Krasinski and Rainn Wilson, respectively), to the recurring roller-coaster ride of a relationship between Kelly Kapoor (Mindy Kaling) and disgraced Vice President of Sales Ryan Howard (BJ Novak) and boss Michael Scott (Steve Carrell) on their search for love in some of the most unlikely of places (like a blood drive or from an office furniture catalogue). .
The experience brings Scranton Business Park to life. Fans can make calls at Pam Beesly’s (Jenna Fischer) desk at the front desk, where Jim has often been seen hanging out, or they can type at Michael Scott’s computer in his office. And, of course, strike a pose holding his World’s Best Boss mug.
Or fans of Ryan Howard – self-proclaimed “child prodigy” – can sit at his tiny desk in the office cupboard.
There will also be a nod to some favorite moments, like Scranton’s most coveted awards show The Dundees and accountant Kevin Malone’s infamous chili spill.
