Several area residents have been named to the Dean’s List at various universities and colleges for their outstanding academic achievements during the Fall semester. The Dean’s List students come from different towns, such as Milton, New Paltz, Wallkill, Pine Bush, Red Hook, Catskill, and Germantown, and have achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Moreover, students named to the Dean’s List at Adelphi University, Hood College, Roger Williams University, Champlain College, Bryant University, Tufts University, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Northern Vermont University, and Curry College have earned this honor by achieving a GPA of 3.4 or higher. The students who achieved this remarkable accomplishment came from different parts of the United States, such as New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, and Maryland. Congratulations to all these students who demonstrated excellence in their academic endeavors!
Graduates of SUNY Oneonta from the Mid-Hudson Valley
Six residents from the Mid-Hudson Valley have graduated from SUNY Oneonta with Bachelor’s degrees. The graduates are Nathaniel Newkirk of Kingston, Kyle Glennon of Woodstock, Nathaniel Bath of New Paltz, Alyssa Loscerbo of Marlboro, Kaitlyn Bordone of Wallkill, and Michael Oberly of Rhinebeck.
President’s List at SUNY Oswego for the Fall Semester
Five area residents have made it to the President’s List at SUNY Oswego for the fall semester. They are Simon P. Baker and Casey A. DeCelle from Saugerties, Paige Bogart from High Falls, Nikki L. Knecht from Tillson, and Elaina M. Mocarski from Accord. President’s list status is achieved by having a grade point average of 3.8 or higher.
Baker is majoring in technology education, DeCelle is majoring in broadcasting and mass communication, Bogart is majoring in geology, Knecht is majoring in zoology, and Mocarski is majoring in business administration.
Dean’s List at SUNY Oswego for the Fall Semester
Twelve area residents have made it to the Dean’s List at SUNY Oswego for the fall semester. These students achieved a grade point average ranging from 3.3 to 3.79. The twelve students are Laurel C. Burch of Saugerties, Christopher J. Dorney of Stone Ridge, Jennifer M. Mead of Rosendale, Jack F. Hyland and William D. Winslow, both of New Paltz; Aidan H. Cuppett and Dionna Manso, both of Highland; Alexander H. Paige of Wallkill, Nicole M. Bauer of Kerhonkson, Nicholas M. Craig of Milton, Alexandra Gil of Accord, and Alissa D. De La Rosa of Modena.
Burch is majoring in art-illustration, Dorney in biology, Mead in wellness management, Hyland in graphic design, and Cuppett in technology education. Manso is majoring in psychology, Paige in software engineering, Bauer, Craig, Gil and Winslow in business administration, and De La Rosa in linguistics.
Dean’s List at Coastal Carolina University for the Fall Semester
Five area residents have made it to the Dean’s List at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C., for the fall semester. These students achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, while freshmen needed a grade point average of 3.25 or higher. The five students are Gabrielle Gambino and Jaclyn Murphy, both of Saugerties; Logan Zehr of Highland, Stefan Hummel of Staatsburg, and Ashley Shook of Catskill.

Several area residents have made it to the Dean’s List at SUNY Delhi for the fall semester. Ashley Gaston, Yasmeen Kablaoui, and Kailyn Oreglio, all of Kingston; Jordan Corvin, Carter Jackson, Elna Naccarato, and Morgan Sussin, all of Saugerties; Teresa Wilson of Woodstock; Wyatt Konjas of Olivebridge, and Avery Burns of West Shokan have made the list.

Hannah Timbrouck of Kingston has been named to the Dean’s List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., for the Fall semester. She achieved a grade point average of 3.4 or higher.
Champlain College in Burlington, Vt.
Jennifer Silva of Mount Tremper has been named to the Dean’s List at Champlain College in Burlington, Vt., for the Fall semester. She achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I.
Cade Beesmer of Kingston, Brian Kotalik of New Paltz, and Alexander Leduc of Marlboro have been named to the Dean’s List at Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I., for the Fall semester. These students achieved a grade point average of 3.4 or higher.
Tufts University in Medford, Mass.
Simon Rands of Woodstock, Luke Taylor of New Paltz, and Maya Lahiri and Brandon Shih, both of Rhinebeck, have been named to the Dean’s List at Tufts University in Medford, Mass., for the Fall semester. These students achieved a grade point average of 3.4 or higher.
Rands and Shih are both members of the Class of 2025. Taylor is a member of the Class of 2023. Lahiri is a member of the Class of 2026.
Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston
Tyler Longo of Kingston has been named to the Dean’s List at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston for the Fall semester.
Northern Vermont University
Julia Chakot of Hudson has been named to the Dean’s List at Northern Vermont University for the Fall semester. She achieved a grade point average from 3.5 to 3.99.
