Novartis: Gilbert Ghostine becomes president of Sandoz 1

(RTTNews) – Novartis (NVS) announced on Monday the appointment of Gilbert Ghostine as Chairman-Elect of the new Sandoz Board of Directors.

Ghostine has been CEO of Geneva-based Firmenich, the world’s largest privately held flavor and taste company, since 2014.

Gilbert Ghostine will become Chairman of the new Sandoz Board of Directors, which will be formed following the Novartis spin-off in the second half of 2023, subject to final approval by the Novartis Board of Directors and shareholders.

Currently, Ghostine sits on two boards; at Danone, where he is a member of the audit committee, and at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, where he chairs the compensation and appointments committee.
