The latest edition of the RSSDI Text Book of Diabetes Mellitus for postgraduate students was released during the Medicos Meet ‘Celebrating the Multi-faceted’ in Jammu, attended by Dr. Singh, who is a nationally known Diabetologist and Professor of Diabetes & Medicine. Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences, and PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy, and Space, attended the Medicos Meet ‘Celebrating the Multi-faceted’ in Jammu as the chief guest. During the event, Dr. Singh released the latest edition of the RSSDI Text Book of Diabetes Mellitus for postgraduate students and a book on Diabetes Mellitus, along with other doctors.
Dr. Singh expressed his admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating that India’s COVID adversity was turned into an opportunity under his leadership, leading to the development of the world’s first DNA vaccine and nasal vaccine for COVID in India. According to Dr. Singh, these achievements have strengthened Atma Nirbhar Bharat and bolstered India’s status as a worldwide vaccine development and manufacturing center.
Dr. Singh commended the pathbreaking decisions taken by the Modi-led government, such as doing away with attestation by a gazetted officer and not conducting interviews for non-gazetted posts. Additionally, greater relaxation in the pensionary rules, such as providing pensions for the divorce daughter and missing government employees, and digital life certificates for pensioners, have been instituted. He praised these decisions, saying they are the best times happening in India under Prime Minister Modi, with India being acknowledged for its contribution in every field, such as science and technology, medicine, and IT.
Dr. Singh claimed that the North East has become a role model of development in India under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, and the PM’s mantra of ‘Reform, Perform, and Transform’ can be seen there. India is being recognized for its contributions to every field globally, and the decisions made by the Modi-led government will be written in golden words in history, according to Dr. Singh.
