The King Abdulaziz Al-Saud Foundation for Islamic Studies and Human Sciences held its 60th Board of Directors meeting in Casablanca, Morocco, discussing various scientific and academic activities, visions, and plans for cultural projects in 2023. The meeting focused on expanding the Foundation’s library by bringing in more books and scientific journals. They also presented practical recommendations on expanding the Foundation’s presence at the Arab and international levels and endorsed the draft 2022 audit report. The bibliographic database program was discussed, along with the services provided to readers and researchers in 2022, the increase in digital library balance, and cultural activities such as seminars, lectures, and book fairs. Attendees included the Moroccan Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, the Director General of the Foundation Dr. Ahmed Al-Tawfiq, the Saudi Ambassador to Morocco Abdullah bin Saad Al-Ghurairy, and other officials.

The King Abdulaziz Al-Saud Foundation for Islamic Studies and Human Sciences held its 60th Board of Directors meeting in Casablanca, Morocco on Saturday. The Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Faisal bin Muammar, led the meeting which was attended by Moroccan Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, the Director General of the Foundation Dr. Ahmed Al-Tawfiq, the Saudi Ambassador to Morocco Abdullah bin Saad Al-Ghurairy, and other officials.

The meeting addressed the Foundation’s various scientific and academic activities and discussed the visions and plans for 2023 cultural projects, including expanding the Foundation’s library with more books and scientific journals. The Board members were also informed about the building of a bibliographic database program with a record storage of 690,575 records, the increase in digital library balance to 2,724,478 pages, and the intensification of cultural activities such as seminars, lectures, and book fairs.

The Board concluded the meeting by presenting practical recommendations on expanding the Foundation’s presence at the Arab and international levels and reviewing and endorsing the draft 2022 audit report.
