Rising star contestant Sheila Atim opted for a metallic dress with a matching glove and completed the outfit with diamond jewelry.
Also among the early arrivals on the carpet was the production team for Marcel The Shell With Shoes On, nominated for Best Animated Feature.
They posed for pictures with a replica of the 1-inch seashell starring in their painterly stop-motion feature.
Northern Irish actor Seamus O’Hara told the PA News Agency the attention at the awards ceremony for his film An Irish Goodbye was “absolutely magical”.
The film, set in Northern Ireland and following two estranged brothers who come together following the death of their mother, was nominated in the British Short Film category.

On the red carpet, O’Hara said of the film’s reception, “It’s pretty overwhelming at first.
“It’s all very new, very big, very urgent, but we’ve come to terms with it.
“I think we’re at a point now where we can enjoy the experience, but we can also apply to be storytellers nationwide, and more people are watching the film and people are loving the film, so the whole thing was absolute.” Magic.”
Netflix’s anti-war epic All Quiet On The Western Front leads the field with 14 nominations.
The Banshees Of Inisherin, starring Colin Farrell, and Everything Everywhere All At Once, starring Michelle Yeoh, follow closely behind with 10 nominations each.
