Goalkeeper Jacob Markstrom is in the starting net during practice for the Flames today.

Markstrom stopped Calgary to a 3-2 overtime win over the New York Rangers on Saturday, making 18 saves.

Striker Elias Lindholm was also back in training on Sunday after missing last night’s game after his wife gave birth to their first child. He has 16 goals and 49 points in 54 games this season.

Defender Michael Stone missed training. He has five goals and 10 points in 46 games.

The Flames are back in action Monday afternoon against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Ottawa Senators

Goaltender Mads Sogaard will take on the St. Louis Blues this afternoon.

In three games for Ottawa this season, the 22-year-old has a .903 save percentage and 3.25 goals against average. In 21 games with AHL Belleville, Sogaard is 6-9-2 with a .898 save percentage and 3.30 GAA.

Head coach DJ Smith also says they will decide in warm-up whether forward Austin Watson plays.

TSN’s Claire Hanna adds that goaltender Cam Talbot will be unavailable for Monday’s game against the Boston Bruins. Talbot has not played since January 25 as he is battling a lower body injury. According to Smith, the team hopes the veteran can return during the team’s clash against the Carolina Hurricanes (February 24) or the Montreal Canadiens (February 25).
