Marcus Rashford is the Premier League’s best player and is in talks to be the best in the world alongside Kylian Mbappe.
That’s the view from talkSPORT’s Darren Ambrose, who hailed the Manchester United striker who is in fine form.
Rashford added two more goals to his impressive tally for the season as Man United beat Leicester 3-0 at Old Trafford.
He now has 24 goals this season (14 of them in the Premier League), which is the biggest single-season goal he has achieved in his career.
The 25-year-old has been in blistering form since the campaign resumed after the World Cup, scoring 15 goals in 16 appearances.
And Ambrose believes there is currently no better player in the top flight than Rashford. The former Crystal Palace star has also suggested that the England star is in the same league as Paris Saint-Germain and France superstar Mbappe.
Ambrose also praised Man United boss Erik ten Hag for getting his player fit last season when he saw Rashford score just five goals in all competitions.
“He’s the best player in the Premier League as we speak, probably by far,” Ambrose said on The Boot Room.

“On his current form he’s unstoppable, he’s unplayable. Whatever superlative you want to use about Marcus Rashford, he’s sensational by the minute. That goalscoring record since the World Cup is just scary.
“In terms of the best player in the world, he’s in the conversation, he’s in with a shout.
“Mbappe is of course the best player in the world, he’s phenomenal, but just to be in the conversation after the year he had last year, to come back as strong as he did… Erik ten Hag deserves a lot of praise for this as Good.
“Some players just need the right coach, they [Man United] seem to have the right coach.
