While at Ball State University from 2017-2021, he recorded 260 defensive tackles while starting 48 of the Cardinals’ 57 games.
He added 34 1/2 tackles for a loss, 16 1/2 sacks, two interceptions, 13 pass knockdowns, nine forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
Albright was a 2020 Mid-American Conference second-team All-Star and a 2018 third-team selection.

Regina-born Prince Albert Raiders defenseman Landon Kosior is WHL Player of the Week.
Kosior, 20, had three goals and five assists in four away games while leading all WHL skaters during the week. He had two first star appearances and one third star appearance.

After 41 games this season, Kosior had 15 goals and 27 assists.
GETZLAF GALA
The 18th Annual Regina Red Sox Sports Gala Dinner will be held on April 22nd at the Turvey Centre.
Headliners are Getzlaf brothers Ryan and Chris.
Ryan retired from the NHL in 2022 after scoring 1,019 points in 17 seasons with the Anaheim Ducks. Chris is a former receiver for the Roughriders.

RIOT RINGETTE
The Regina Riot won the under-12 division at the 31st Annual Queen City Classic Ringette Tournament over the weekend. The Buffalo Plains Thunder earned the bronze medal.
In the U14 division, the Buffalo Plains Warriors and Buffalo Plains Renegades took first and second place, respectively.

The Saskatoon Ice won the U10 Gold Medal (Fundamentals 3). Second were the Buffalo Plains Strikers.
Buffalo Plains teams draw from White City, Emerald Park, Balgonie, and Pilot Butte.
Also over the weekend, Regina was the center for the National Ringette League competition. The results were as follows:
Saturday: Saskatchewan Heat 5, Edmonton Black Gold Rush 2; Edmonton WAM 4, Saskatchewan 1; Calgary RATH 5, WAM 4; Black Gold Rush 8, Manitoba Herd 7; Manitoba 7, BC Thunder 6; RATH 9, BC 6.
Sunday: RATH 8, Saskatchewan 4; BC 9, Black Gold Rush 6; WAM 6, Manitoba 4.

Regina Pat’s Canadians went into Tuesday’s Saskatchewan Male AAA Hockey League game against host Saskatoon Contacts with a 27-6-0-4 record.

Regina came off the back of a 3-1 win over visiting Notre Dame Hounds on Saturday.
Taylor Tabashniuk was named the first star after 30 saves. Noel Englot, Ryan Zaremba and Luke Moroz provided offensive support. DJ Freigang scored for Notre Dame, who lost 3-1 to hosts Saskatoon Blazers on Sunday.
NOTRE DAME NAILBETER
The Hounds defeated the La Ronge Ice Wolves 2-1 on Monday in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League at Duncan McNeill Arena in Wilcox.
Samuel Borschowa and Jaryd Sych scored for Notre Dame. Lleyton Shearon answered for La Ronge.
