“Man’s Uncontrollable Rage Captured in Viral Video at Metro Vancouver Tim Horton’s Drive-Thru”
A man recently launched a shrieking tirade at a Tim Hortons drive-thru in Surrey, BC, where he berated employees for his coffee order.
The incident was caught on video by the customer behind him, who uploaded the footage to TikTok and expressed disgust at how the man treated the workers.
“Dude, I don’t care how bad you want your coffee. You can’t verbally attack service workers,” user @apoxindustries captioned the post.
The man drove a large black pickup truck to the food window at Sullivan Heights Tim Horton’s restaurant on Highway 10 near 152nd Street, where he yelled at the worker.
“Extra large dark roast double double espresso. Find the fuck out… Gimme my coffee! give me my coffee It’s super easy… are you stupid?” says the man.
He then starts banging on the door of his truck, yelling, “How many times do I have to fucking tell you?”

A worker is heard saying he will call the police before handing the man his coffee.
The man then drives away, stepping over the curb on his way out.
“Ouch,” one hears the film ending say as he leaves.
Daily Hive asked Surrey RCMP if it was investigating the incident, but Cpl. Vanessa Munn said she couldn’t find any related files. It is not known whether the incident was reported to the police.
Daily Hive have also reached out to Tim Hortons for comment, but have yet to receive a response.
On TikTok, commenters denounce his behavior – and offer support to customer service agents who have to deal with aggressive people in such situations.
“I don’t think he needs any more coffee,” said one.
“The way I would have thrown [the coffee] and lost my job,” added another.
“Why don’t people want to work in low paying customer service/grocery jobs? For this reason. Too many people like it,” said a third.
Daily Hive reached out to the witness who filmed the interaction for more details, and we’ll update this story when we get feedback.
