The 55-year-old star – whose first TV role was on the actor’s sitcom in 1991 when she was 23 and he was 37 – recently claimed he flashed her, and although he vehemently denied the accusation, she insisted that he could not have admitted it.

“He has to deny it because look at the times we’re in,” she said ET Canada. “If he said, ‘Oh yeah, I did that…’ he would be… a lot of those stories are just the tip of the iceberg — not this story.

“But I was just talking about really pivotal moments to try and convey some of those things that happened in my childhood and my career, and I wanted to kind of throw in some of those things.

“Not all. Obviously I haven’t told every story in my life, otherwise I would be writing volumes. Because it was my first job, handymanI felt it was important to say that.”

In response to her claim that he showed her his penis on her first day of shooting, he insisted he was “a little disappointed” in her.

“She was a great colleague, I can tell you that,” Allen said. “She’s a fun girl. Everyone loved her, but everyone at ABC is a little disappointed in her… memory, so to speak. All of us at Disney/ABC, really.

“She’s a good girl.”

And asked if he had a good memory, that toy story Stern added: “Yes.”

The couple’s working relationship made headlines last week diversity published an excerpt from the Baywatch upcoming memoirs of the actress Dear Pamela.

In it, she wrote that she was confronted with Allen wearing a robe as she walked out of her dressing room, adding, “He quickly opened his robe and showed me — completely naked underneath.”

She said Allen told her the incident was “only fair” as he saw the former Playboy model naked and admitted she “laughed awkwardly” at his gag.

Allen then issued a statement saying the incident “never happened” as he “would never do anything like it.”

And the 55-year-old beauty later defended the veteran actor, insisting she didn’t think he had “bad intentions”.

She wrote in a text message: “Tim is a comedian, it’s his job to push boundaries. I’m sure he had no bad intentions.

“Nevertheless, times have changed. I doubt anyone would try this post #MeToo. It’s a new world.”

In her most recent interview, Anderson added, “How could you have dreamed that up? Then he ran back to his room and then he was embarrassed all day and acted like a giddy little schoolboy.”
