Former NFL head coach Rex Ryan is in the news today.
The current ESPN analyst has spent a lot of time coaching in the NFL and is looking to make a comeback.
According to Adam Schefter, Ryan was interviewed for the defensive coordinator position with the Denver Broncos on Saturday.
Former Jets and Bills HC and current ESPN analyst Rex Ryan was interviewed Saturday in Denver for the Broncos DC job. Ryan and former Broncos HC Vance Joseph are among a handful of candidates for the job; Ryan told ESPN he would only leave the network “for the perfect… https://t.co/S0bWnxO4MZ pic.twitter.com/5Uyw6O8Oy2

With him stating he needs “the perfect situation” to leave for the NFL, one fan thinks going to Denver isn’t perfect at all.
Denver is the worst situation, gotta deal with Russell and his ego

Another fan echoed the sentiment, as they believe he will stay with ESPN.
Well, the Broncos are in as bad of a spot as it gets, so I guess he’s sticking with ESPN.

However, fans who know Ryan from his coaching days are hoping the Broncos won’t hire him.
Rex Ryan is a terrible trainer lol. Vance Joseph is the top rookie. Ryan has been out of the game for a while now.

The beatings against him continue, as his “perfect situation” must include losing to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The perfect situation apparently continues to belong to the Chiefs

As he has not been a coach since 2016, he could lack practice with his job.
However, joining a team that has Sean Payton as head coach makes things better in Denver for the current ESPN analyst.
And by “the perfect situation”, he means to join Sean Payton in #BroncosCountry
Let’s go coach👏🏼

If he joins the Broncos coaching staff, he will take on a position he hasn’t held since 2008.
It was during that year he was the defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens.
With him having great success as a defensive coordinator, he can bring something good to Denver.
However, fans are concerned that he hasn’t coached in the NFL for long.
He hasn’t coached since 2016. Their game has changed in those few years. I don’t know if it can fit

With that in mind, his potential return may be a challenge for him and the Broncos.
But it’s still up to the Broncos and Ryan to decide if it’s right for them.
