Lil Wayne Sells $28 Million Miami Mansion After Lengthy Search for Buyer
Lil Waynes The infamous multi-million dollar Miami mansion has finally found a buyer.
According to a report TMZ published on Tuesday, February 7th weezy is about to complete the sale of his massive Allison Island mansion in Biscayne Bay. The rapper who recently received the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award, and Douglas Elliman agent Cyril Matz originally listed the home for $29.5 million in September. Eventually, his team lowered the price a bit to $28 million. The new price has managed to attract the unidentified buyer who is about to close the huge half-acre mansion.
Wayne’s custom home was built in 2017 and features seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, an open-air cabana, an outdoor kitchen, two huge lounge areas, staff quarters, a reflecting pool, and docking for boats or jet skis. Accordingly forbes, the $16.8 million home also has floor to ceiling windows, a movie theater, elevator, wine cellar and more. Access is through a private gate that leads visitors to a huge tree-covered driveway. With the home on the market for over four months, Wayne accepted the buyer’s offer on February 3.
Luckily, the new buyer doesn’t have to wait for Wayne to clear the epic mansion. The Young Money founder currently resides in a $15.4 million home in the Hidden Hills of Los Angeles County. It’s the same place where celebrities like Kylie Jenner live. It is also the location of drakes former YOLO estate. But Drake sold the house last year and bought a new mansion in Benedict Canyon.
Wayne won’t be home as much in April. He’s supposed to go to Minneapolis begins his first tour in years.
