Jon Rahm secured a return to world number 1 after riding through a thrilling last-lap battle with Max Homa to claim a dramatic victory at the Genesis Invitational.
The Spaniard took a three-shot lead in the final round at Riviera Country Club but trailed Homa with six holes to play, to go ahead producing brilliant birdies on the two-par-three on the back nine .
