‘Foxy Brown’ Superstar Pam Grier Finds Why She Became Down Bond Lady Position in ‘Octopussy’

“But it turned out that I developed an audience,” Grier famous. “There were not only women, but also artists and filmmakers who liked to see a woman walk in the shoes of a man and be seen as strong, combative. Here is a woman who spoke freely with a way that wasn’t portrayed. . . . But I’m from the Black West, wholesome but fierce women. I wanted to bring that into my work. I lassoed people and it opened the floodgates. I’m still amazed by all of these amazing women who are I’m making action movies now, who aren’t afraid of guns and don’t put their heads in the sand I feel good that it’s helped other women to express themselves and be strong, without fear. I’m really happy about that.
