“Pamela Anderson Cooks Up a Canadian-Style Culinary Storm on New Food Network Canada Series”
Pamela Anderson will be showing her plants and legumes after Food Network Canada ordered a series Pamela’s cooking with love.
The eight-episode series commissioned by Corus Studios will see the Pamela, a love story star and Dear Pamela Author who works with chefs on plant-based menus and prepares meals for her family and friends in her home on Canada’s West Coast. The Fireworks Media Group series follows another collaboration, Pamela’s Garden of Eden, a home renovation show being renewed for an eight-episode second season.
“Creating elegant and welcoming spaces that inspire a compassionate, tranquil and healthy environment has always been important to me and comes naturally. Corus Studios and I set common goals with good intentions. It’s been a learning curve – and I’m confident they will be a positive partner in bringing my true vision to life,” Anderson said in a statement Tuesday.
Work on both series will take place from Anderson’s home on Vancouver Island in the summer of 2023. Robert Hardy and Anderson will be executive producers.
News of the Anderson-hosted twin series follows Ryan White’s new Netflix documentary. Pamela, a love storyPremiered on the streaming giant and released Anderson’s memoir Dear Pamela.
White spoke recently The Hollywood Reporter about working with Anderson and how he ended up making what he calls an “anti-celebrity” documentary. “I didn’t even know Pamela was Canadian. I knew so little about her. To me, she was the symbol of American sexuality. The idea that she was from a small town on an island just blew me away,” he said, also sharing that both the document and the memoir are a way for Anderson to reclaim her own narrative and bring her career to hers conditions to continue.
