Erik ten Hag has kept his cards close to his chest amid the ongoing Manchester United takeover saga.
The Dutchman was asked about the news that several applications had been received for the club, including from Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe from Qatar.
But Ten Hag insisted he was sticking to his job and it had “nothing” to do with him.
He told Sky Sports ahead of United taking on Leicester on Sunday: “I think for the players, for the coaching staff, for me, of course we follow the news.
“We are of course curious to know what will happen because we are attached to the club but it has nothing to do with us.
“We have to focus on football.
“That’s all we have to do, we have to perform, we have to get the right results and not be distracted by things happening or around the club.”
The Glazers have put United up for sale and are seeking offers of £6bn and above with a “soft” deadline set on Friday for parties to show interest.

This has led to two confirmations of offers, one from Sheikh Al Thani, who is said to be worth £1.3bn on her own but is part of the Qatari royal family, whose total value is said to be £275bn of pounds sterling.
Ratcliffe, owner of OGC Nice, is said to have a net worth of £11.3billion and is the CEO of chemicals group INEOS and has revealed plans to make the club “debt free”.
United’s fan base is torn over who they want to lead them past the Glazers, while US hedge fund Elliott has also signaled interest.
A statement from Al Thani’s offer said: “Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani today confirmed his submission of an offer for 100% of Manchester United Football Club.
“The bid plans to restore the Club to its former glories both on and off the pitch, and – above all – will seek to put the fans back at the heart of Manchester United Football Club.
“The offering will be entirely debt-free through Sheikh Jassim’s Nine Two Foundation, which will seek to invest in the football teams, training centre, stadium and wider infrastructure, fan experience and communities. which the Club supports.
“The vision of the bid is for Manchester United Football Club to be recognized for excellence in football and seen as the greatest football club in the world. Further details of the offer will be released, as appropriate, if and when the bidding process will expand.
