Toronto native Samantha Bee returns home to host the 2023 Canadian Screen Awards.

The organizers of the ceremony, which celebrates the best of Canadian film and television shows, say Bee will host the pre-taped show to conclude Canadian Screen Week, which will feature numerous in-person events for the first time in four years .

Deviating from the pre-pandemic format, the final show, which concludes the week’s celebrations that Bee is hosting, will not be live to an audience of guests and nominees.
