for Beyonce’s upcoming tour
Beyonce’s Toronto and Vancouver ticket prices are really making some members of the BeyHive wonder how far they would go to see the Queen of the Grammys live.
The “Break My Soul” singer announced her highly anticipated Renaissance World Tour on Instagram last week with an iconic photo of her riding a dazzling horse.
She will perform twice in Toronto at Rogers Center and once in Vancouver at BC Place.
Fans who added themselves to the BeyHive presale were the first to see how much the first batch of tickets cost on Monday.
As expected, demand was high and fans were treated to some expensive tickets as soon as people got through the queue.
In Vancouver, Daily Hive found that the cheapest tickets available were $176. To stand in front on the floor, tickets cost $1,097.48.
VIP packages start at around $2,000 and go up to $5,000.

There are two upcoming shows in Toronto, but the tickets weren’t cheaper.
The cheapest ticket Daily Hive found in Toronto was $197. For standing room, which is only available to BeyHive VIP, tickets cost $2,079.60.
The most expensive ticket costs $5,305.

While there were some fans who were able to snag tickets for under $100, as one person said on Twitter, they noticed that prices went up within hours of the presale starting.
Short video for the Toronto Hive, sorry it’s not the best but gives you an idea of what’s left in each section. I hope it helps! By the way, these were DEFINITELY not the prices when advance sales opened at 2:00 p.m. Everything is now at least $200 more expensive. #RENAISSANCEWorldTour #Beyonce pic.twitter.com/faPxzVMuWy

Like Canadian fans, Americans have wondered why tickets are so expensive, as many people are simply challenged by the high cost of living.
@theluncheonlawyer I can’t tell you how to run your business. I was just wondering if you could keep an eye on the recession or whatever, but if not, that’s fine. @beyonce #worldtour #renaissance #beyonce #greenscreen ♬ Original sound – Theluncheonlawyer
Many are already selling tickets to Canadian shows on Twitter.
Given how much ticket prices have risen in a matter of hours, it’s unclear how much it will cost people waiting to buy tickets when the sale is public.
Daily Hive has reached out to Live Nation for a response.
