Creighton Upsets Baylor in NCAA Tourney

In the Round of 32 of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, the Baylor Bears were once again eliminated from the competition for the second year in a row. The Creighton Bluejays secured an 85-76 victory over the Bears in the South Region of the tournament, held at Ball Arena in Denver. Despite Baylor’s effort to keep the game close, Creighton maintained a significant lead of almost 20 points at one point in the game.

Baylor tried to make a comeback in the final minutes of the game, cutting the lead to just nine points after the last media timeout. However, they failed to capitalize on their next seven possessions, allowing Creighton to secure the win.

With the victory, Creighton improves to 23-12 on the season and advances to the Sweet 16 for the second time in three seasons. Meanwhile, Baylor finishes their season with a 23-11 record.
