The race had a preliminary entry list of 39 cars, including series regulars. Daniel Hemric, Ryan Truex, Parker Kligerman, and Riley Herbst will all retain their positions inside the top five. Hill has shown himself to be a major contender in the Xfinity Series.
Austin Hill Wins RAPTOR King of Tough 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway
Austin Hill has clinched his third victory in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, winning the RAPTOR King of Tough 250 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday. Hill drove the No. 21 Bennett Transportation Chevrolet Camaro for Richard Childress Racing and passed all the aspects of the post-race inspection.
The race was the fifth event of the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, and NASCAR announced the completion of the post-race inspection at 9:42 PM ET, awarding Hill the victory. The completion of the inspection means that all results and standings are now officially declared.
Hill’s race-winning car, the No. 21 Bennett Transportation and Logistics Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Camaro, passed the post-race technical inspection, and as a result, Hill and his team were declared the official winners of the race.
Drivers Daniel Hemric, Ryan Truex, Parker Kligerman, and Riley Herbst will maintain their positions inside the top five. The race had a preliminary entry list of 39 cars, including series regulars, with Sammy Smith, last week’s winner, piloting the No. 18 Pilot / Flying J Toyota GR Supra.
The victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway is the third for Hill in the current Xfinity Series season. He drove an outstanding race and has shown himself to be a significant contender in the Xfinity Series.
