Koko Zaria, a boss in the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), has criticized Nollywood actors Iyabo Ojo, Falz, Mogaji, Mr Macaroni, and others for supporting a different candidate instead of the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Koko Zaria had called them “Awon Omo ale Yoruba jati jati” in Yoruba, which means “bastards” for betraying the Yoruba tribe. Iyabo Ojo responded on her Instagram page, condemning Koko Zaria’s insults and called on the Nigerian police to take action against him. In recent times, Iyabo Ojo had criticized Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his failure to protect his people, following the arrest of Mr Macaroni at the Lekki Toll Gate protest. Paul Okoye, talent manager, and entertainment executive, also advised Iyabo Ojo to take a break from social media drama.

In her post, Iyabo Ojo said, “If anything happens to us, you all should hold this bastard accountable. You must be MAD.”
