  • Eggs: 3 🥚
  • Milk: 525 ml 🥛
  • Sugar: 150 g
  • Dry yeast: 15 g
  • Oil: 75 ml
  • Orange zest: 1 tsp 🍊
  • Vanilla extract: 1 tsp
  • Flour: 750 g 🌾
  • Salt: 1 tbsp
  • Golden raisins: 100 g
  • Dark raisins: 80 g
  • Candied fruits:
    • Red: 100 g 🍒
    • Green: 80 g 🍏
  • Egg yolk: 1 (for glazing)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the Dough Base:
In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, sugar, yeast, oil, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully integrated.

2️⃣ Add Flour Gradually:
Add half the flour, mix, then incorporate the rest along with the salt. Knead for 5 minutes until smooth.

3️⃣ Mix in Fruits:
Gently fold in the raisins and candied fruits, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.

4️⃣ Prepare the Molds:
Grease and flour three size-18 molds. Divide the dough evenly and decorate with extra candied fruits if desired.

5️⃣ Allow to Rise:
Cover the molds with a clean cloth and let the dough rise for 25 minutes until it doubles in size.

6️⃣ Glaze and Bake:
Brush the top with egg yolk and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 35 minutes, or until golden and fully baked.

Remove from the oven and gently demold while warm to avoid sticking.
