Reddick had recently appeared in the movie John Wick 4, and was missing from the premiere earlier this week. A selfie video he posted on Wednesday on Twitter showed him at home, seemingly in good spirits.

Before appearing alongside Keanu Reeves in John Wick, Reddick was best known for his roles in the TV series The Wire and Fringe, and had lent his voice to several video game characters, including Commander Zavala in Destiny 2. He had been the voice actor for Zavala for almost a decade, and was also the face and voice of Sylens, the antagonist in the Horizon Zero Dawn games.

Reddick was loved by the gaming community for his interactions with fans, voicing memes and other community jokes as Zavala in Destiny 2. He also portrayed Albert Wesker in the Netflix adaptation of Resident Evil.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1962, Reddick’s breakthrough role was as Cedric Daniels in The Wire.
