Stewed cabbage with apple and clove
This simple dish in Germany is often used as a side dish for meatloaf and not only.
Time for preparing
|An Apple||1 piece|
|Red cabbage||1 head|
|Butter||4 tbsp. spoons|
|Ground cloves||1 pinch|
|Apple vinegar||120 ml|
|Lemon juice||1 tbsp. the spoon|
|Ground black pepper||taste|
Grate the apple on a coarse grater or cut into small pieces. The peel can not be removed, just cut the seeds. Chop the cabbage.
